Ok... this is my first post (ever) and I am a bit nervous so please forgive the shaky typing :)
Here we go, it is:
day -1 until i am officially unemployed and de-Googlerized (or Xooglerized...) but i'm pretty sure I'll always feel like a Googler and I will get this little pinch in the heart every time i hear the G word in the media or in the vocabulary of fellow Earth inhabitants
day-2 until I leave my little green island also known as Ireland and after 4 years, here is my take on the eternal weather debate: if Irish people don't see the sun very often it's because they've locked it into their heart! I know, I found it :)
day -20 until Hardy and I head off to Beijing, the 1st destination of a 365* days trip around the world (*that's in best-case scenario where we survive typhoon season in China, monkey bites in Nepal and fire chillies in many local cuisines)
As of July 5th this blog will be my main communication tool with the rest of the world (meaning all of you who stayed back and work very hard whilst I lay on the beach somewhere, mouaaahahahaha! :P) so please do come back and say hello (even if it's to rant about the fact that you're working your bum off whilst i'm drinking coconut milk in a hammock) :)
A bientot!
Julie
Bon Chance Julie :) We will miss you so much - I am sad now...don't forget us! Please come back for an Irish hangover some day.
ReplyDeleteYou're an inspiration, Julie! Take loads of photos, and hopefully we'll see each other again in some far flung destination.
ReplyDeleteLove life, less pain,
Dom
Have a fantastic time Julie. You will be missed and it was a pleasure working with you and knowing you. Enjoy every minute of it :)
ReplyDeleteJulie have an absolute ball! I am beyond jealous of the amazing, exciting adventure you are about to embark on. Enjoy every minute of it and share your photos with us along the way. We will miss you in here and the 'je ne sais quoi' you brought to the team with your French fashion sense and that sexy accent of yours :) Sara xxx
ReplyDeleteJulie, I'm so jealous of your amazing trip but we are all very proud of the fact that a fellow PTO'er is going to do a huge amount of good in Nepal on her world travels. I wish you the best of luck traveling and as a traditional Irish blessing goes;
ReplyDeleteMay the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Linda :)
Best of luck Julie- your upcoming adventures sound AMAZING:)
ReplyDeleteAll the very best in this fantastic journey ahead of you!
ReplyDeletebonne chance Julie!
ReplyDeleteit's been a pleasure to work with you during these 4 years! This little break is more than deserved sooo ENJOY IT!!! ;-)
a bientôt Julie!
30 days in Argentina and only 24 in Brazil? I'm "violently" offended! No kidding! Anyway, I'm not going to say that I'm jealous cause that's obviously obvious. Just enjoy the world, post as many pics as you can, and see you in Oz! Boa viagem!
ReplyDeleteAll the best, I am sure you will have a fantastic time, meeting loads of people. If you pass through Singapore, you have plenty of peeps to visit :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous too!
ReplyDeleteI know you'll have the time of your life! :)
And remember, whenever in doubt, follow your instinct! :)
Can't wait to see your pictures! I want to see a map to follow you on too! ;)
